B found my parents’ present! It was in a bag with my nieces gift. Whoo hoo. Stockings are still MIA 
Went to church today. I swear everytime we go, I really like it, but it’s like a big slap in the face about the whole in law (the others) situation. Today was all about forgiveness. It really was a great service, it just sucks that it always relates to them because they’ve put such a shadow on my world. I saw the big picture about how I’m supposed to get over it and forgiving is really for ME not for them. Also if I decide to forgive, it doesn’t need to be mentioned to them, it’s for me again. I actually think I could do it, for the betterment (is that a word?) of my life and my family, thing is it was also mentioned that forgiving in no way means that seeing those who you’ve forgiven will still bring all the awful feelings back at you over and over. Well I knew that! I got a kick out of the production they made of it though… black paper in all the propgrams that you could use to write down the name of a person you chose to forgive. They said to write the name, what it was that person took from you and “debt cancelled”. Then you took the paper to one of the many shredders they had on stage. Brent and I both wrote on either side of the card and he shredded it. It was a nice demonstration. Forgiveness or not (and I am not sure I’m there yet) my need is really to have no contact period so maybe I should look into getting a job after all… one that would move us to another state. I wish it was that easy. I’m not uprooting for that reason.
Anyway, R’s sleep pattern is just ridiculous. Over the past week or so it seemed to be improving… but not tonight. My chest hurts from going upstairs so many times just in the past hour and a half. That’s what I get for the calm approach. She really is getting better, but I’d just love to get something done once she’s in bed instead of constantly answering her calls and going to her. She’d have a brother or sister a lot sooner if she’d just let me get some sleep/things done 
My parents were here for a short visit this afternoon. They were supposed to watch R but B’s Christmas party was cancelled so they just came for a visit since we are supposed to have a storm (don’t see anything yet?!) My mom made R a bunch of cute Christmas decorations. She’s so crafty. She made little elves out of blocks that spell out her name. My parents had a nice time seeing all the new stuff and decorations in R’s room and of course she was very excited and proud to show them.
We have “snow” sprayed on lots of the windows…. snowmen and a Christmas tree with a train under it too…I got creative:) So she likes to show that too.
Tomorrow if it’s not bad out weather-wise we’ll be out for some “last-minute” shopping. Yippee.
