Straw-buh-buh-buh-buh-berry… Strawberry Shortcake!

So we found R’s costume today! This past weekend we went to a big costume store but they didn’t have what she wanted…Strawberry Shortcake. She really liked a pirate costume we saw there and I loved it, but it was too small. Today, we tried another store… the person who worked there said she didn’t think they had SS. It was a party store, so they had pictures up of the costumes and if you wanted one they’d get it from the back…so all we had to look through were pictures high up above us… We didn’t see anything else, R was on a Strawberry mission. We turned to leave and R said “Strawberry!” and we all looked up… there she was! I can’t believe we didn’t see her and almost left with nothing. I told her if they had her size, it was hers. It fit!
She looks so cute! It’s really a lame costume…blue pants, striped top that says Strawberry Shortcake. But it does have a cute hat with the hair attached… she’s already bothered by that. “My hair’s not supposed to be stuck to my hat” and it’s itchy 
Other then that, she loves it and looks adorable. So glad she saw it…now we just have to accessorize.
